Sandalwood and oud

Absolutely love the sandalwood and oud deo stick. The product package is sturdy and the deo comes out perfectly when you turn the nob . Love the top cap inside to keep it fresh . Now the smell is absolutely amazing. Keeps the scent on for longer even during this extreme heat . Definitely controls odor . I was looking for an Indian alternative to the salt and stone and I found its better version here .

Another low-key pleasantness from The Bare Bar

Natural deodorants don’t go on with a loud bang like spray on chemicals. At least, I think they shouldn’t. This Neroli fragrance is yet another hit on similar lines as their Sandalwood Ylang Ylang. It soft and rounded like the other one, but maybe two notches down on scent projection. The fragrance itself is mildly citrus and not overpowering as some can be. After a couple of hours, in Delhi summer, the scent itself isn’t too prominent, but the deodorant properties hold up. Possibly best for cooler evenings.

The Bare Bar just reaffirmed my faith in their brand by a wondrous gesture.
I had recently been disappointed to find my favorite Sandalwood Ylang Ylang deodorant replaced with a formulation that was exactly similar to their new Sandalwood Oud fragrance, which doesn’t sit too well with my personal choices.
Bare Bar received the feedback, took the product back and send back a stick of the original fragrance that I wanted. Their contact throughout had been nothing but genial and the fact that they went out in a limb to reassure a customer, is something even bigger brands don’t do lately.
Needless to say, the sandalwood ylang ylang is a rare, sensual fragrance in a market flooded with loud notes. I’d recommend it to sensitive noses in a jiffy. And it lasts all day too.
