The Bare Bar Neroli Deodorant belongs to the Bright Citrus fragrance family. Honestly, I expected it to be somewhat similar or close to fragrances like D&G Light Blue or CK One, but it turned out to be quite different from what I had imagined.
The first thing you notice is its projection. This is not a subtle fragrance it can actually fill the room when you enter, and the longevity is genuinely impressive. For that reason, I am giving it 3 stars specifically for its longevity. It definitely stays around for a long time.
Personally, I really enjoyed the fragrance on the first and second day. However, from the third day onward, I started getting a feeling that it smelled somewhat like an agarbatti (incense stick). The fragrance itself is not bad at all; I think this is simply a matter of personal taste and how my nose perceives it.
The Bright Citrus category also comes with some big expectations because it includes famous fragrances such as Dior Sauvage and Acqua di Giò. So perhaps my expectations were a little too high going into this one.
Overall, Neroli has excellent projection and impressive longevity, but the scent profile didn't completely work for me. That said, fragrance is highly subjective, so if you enjoy this particular citrus profile, you may have a very different experience.
