Natural deodorants neutralise odour using plant-based ingredients such as baking soda, magnesium and essential oils. Unlike chemical antiperspirants, they do not block sweat like chemical antiperspirants do. Natural deodorants allow your body to sweat naturally without deodorising you. This makes them safer to use in the long term.

Yes. As with any transition from antiperspirant to antibacterial products, the body will undergo a detoxification process if you stop using the product. You may experience a period of over sweating or an odour at first, but this will subside in time as your pores get cleared. Eating fresh fruits and veggies, drinking water, and exfoliating the underarms will all help ease the transition.

Natural deodorants do not block sweat ( since they're aluminium free ) but control the smell by killing bacteria that cause bad smells. If you want less moisture under your arms, look for formulations with arrowroot powder or kaolin clay that absorb excess moisture and leave your skin to breathe.

A stick of natural deodorant would last 2-3 months if it were used daily. Since a little goes a long way, you can apply a modest amount that will keep you clean all day. Proper storage in a cool and dry place will help keep it in store.

Most natural deodorants will not stain clothing once applied properly. However, applying too much product (or not letting it dry before you get dressed) can sometimes result in white marks. Get formulas with light butters and powders that quickly penetrate the skin.
